The MVS features both force and displacement testing. It
accommodates load cells up to 220 lbf and has very precise digital
positioning capabilities and a manual JOG dial capable of 0.001 mm
increments.
The touch screen is the ultimate in programming efficiency. Five
screens control Testing, Options, Utility, Settings and Calibration.
The MVS is specially designed to test force vs. displacement
characteristics including hysteresis analysis of micro-movement test
samples such as membrane switches, micro switches, keyboards, etc.
It will quickly measure not only compression direction, but also the
reverse, decompression, simultaneously. Also, if it is preset, it
will indicate the particular force value at the preset distance.
Once all of the testing parameters are set, the MVS will perform uniformly conditioned testing repeatedly. The force and displacement
data output in the RS-232C format is available for SPC.
